He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Shever and Alice Shever (Ginger); his wife Arlene Rohrbaugh; his son Raymond Eugene Shever; and his sister Karen Duncan.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Shever of Lakewood, Roger Shever of Pella and Roland Shever of Knoxville; and his sisters, Kathryn Sands of Schleswig and Lois Farber. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
