He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Stratmann and Emma Stratmann (Dohrmann); his son Gary Stratmann; his parents-in-law, Paul and Edna Kroeger; and his sisters, Iona Winterhof (Orville), Elna Keehn (Kenneth) and Norma Borcherding (Darrel).
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Vikings, Cardinals and Suns; his wife Lois Stratmann of Hampton; his children, Linda Modderman (Mark) of Livingston, Keith Stratmann (Kelley) of Tonopah and Alan Stratmann (Jennifer) of Hillsboro; his daughter-in-law Jan Stratmann of Latimer; his grandsons, Paul Modderman (Christa), Colin Modderman (Jessica), Seth Modderman, Josh Stratmann (Crystal) and Trevor Stratmann (Jessie); and his stepgrandchildren, Eric Fetzer (Lisa), Renee Kennedy, RaeAnn Tombaugh (Scott), Heidi Gladden (Josh) and Loren Bryant (Melissa). He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
