He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence F. and Eileen (Strong); and his granddaughter Claire Elizabeth Reis. He is survived by: his wife Virginia of Greenfield, Iowa; his son Rodney (Kathie); his grandchildren, George and Abby of Urbandale, Iowa; his son Randal (Joan); his grandchildren, Sophie, Belle, Max and Jack of Waukee, Iowa; his son Timothy (Kelley); his granddaughters, Emily and Anna of Manitowoc, Wisconsin; his son Thomas (Kristen); his grandchildren, David, Jacob, Julia, Kayla and Samantha of Urbandale, Iowa; his son Douglas (Amy); and his granddaughters, Sarah and Ella of Adel, Iowa. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
