He was predeceased by: his wife Lois; and his daughters, Janet Hess, Judy Twigg and Dotti Twigg. He is survived by: his children, Carl (Maureen), James (Arlean), Louise McKeen (William) and Thomas Twigg. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 1 great- great grandchild.
