He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Burdett and Dorothy Peril Stackhouse (Fiscus); and his son Craig. He is survived by: his wife Janet Ann Hilsabeck of Liscomb, Iowa.; his sons, Kirk Stackhouse of Marshalltown, IA and Kent Stackhouse (Deb) of Waterloo, IA; his grandchildren, Jessica Stackhouse and Brooke Stackhouse; and his sister Lila Kline (Lee) of Des Moines.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Conrad American Legion.
