She is survived by: her husband Larry Nguyen of Grandview; her children, Jeff Nguyen of Muscatine, Duc Nguyen (Angel) of Muscatine and Jennifer McConahay (Brian) of Winterset; her grandchildren, Kaidin, Kaylee, Kaialynn, Jace and Ian; and her siblings, Gary Schroeder (Red) of Le Mars, Tom Schroeder (Wanda) of Le Mars, Lynne Paulsen (Duane) of Brandon, SD and Mike Schroeder (Linda) of Urbandale. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Julie's memory.
