It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darleen Hofer (Grandview, Iowa), born in Toledo, Iowa, who passed away on May 5, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Prusha and Florence Prusha (Papesh); her husband Donald Hofer; her daughters, Marsha Schmidt and Robin Hofer; her siblings, Louise Prusha, Lola Mae Rice and Eugene Prusha; her parents-in-law, Leo and June Hofer; and her great grandchild Daniel Hofer, III.
She is survived by: her son Daniel Hofer (Teresa Struchen) of Marshalltown; her daughter-in-law Debra Hofer of Des Moines; her nephews, Wayne Prusha (Vicki) of Arkansas, David Prusha, Clay Prusha (Miriam) of Marshalltown and Gene Prusha (Cindy) of Michigan; her niece Carol Prusha of Rhode Island; her grandchildren, Eric Schmidt (Lisa), Marc Schmidt (Sara), Daniel Hofer, II (Angie), Amber Markham (Tim), Cody Hofer (Ashley), Nicholas Hofer and Nicole Hofer; her sister Gail Hall (Rob) of Breezy Point, MN; her son-in-law Richard Schmidt; and her sister-in-law Jean Bohmke.
