She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Spangler and Clara Spangler (Tuttle); her former spouse Birdsall Carlson; her husband Luther Buss; her son Jerry Carlson; and her siblings, Carroll Spangler, Arthur Spangler, Jr., Kermit Spangler, Clarice Carlson, Emma Jean Bloxham and Ina Mae Skadburg.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Jean Flumerfelt (Don) of Eagle Grove, Ole Carlson (Janice) of Hampton, MN and Emogene Carlson of Olin; her grandchildren, Denise Lenarz (Tom), Dan Flumerfelt (Candi), John Carlson (Kandis) and Courtney Iverson (Sam); and her brothers, Jack (Angie) and Abe Spangler of Eagle Grove. She is also survived by many other nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
