It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlis Sorensen of Goldfield, Iowa, who passed away on November 15, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Arlis Sorensen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Ernst and Fern Ernst (Fjetland); her husband Kent C. Sorensen; and her siblings-in-law, Karen Evans, Vicki Reyna, Herb Bormann, Dunnie Sorensen, Bud Sorensen and Richard Reyna.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Sorensen (Kathleen) of Fairbanks, AK, John Sorensen of Goldfield and Paul Sorensen of Boone; her grandson Tayler Callahan of Cedar Rapids; her siblings, Marlene Bormann of Humboldt and Gene Ernst (Lorraine) of Victoria, MN; and her sisters-in-law, Dee Halverson (Carl), Holly Upchurch, Joy Sorensen and Jill Sorensen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date due to COVID-19.
