Allan N. DeWitt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2020, at the age of 82, Allan N. DeWitt of Garner, Iowa, born in Mason City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel DeWitt and Maybelle DeWitt (Groth); his sons, Lee Allan and Neil Andrew DeWitt; his grandson Brett Mack Adkins; his siblings, Leland DeWitt (Gloria) and Myrna Angel (Bruce); his parents-in-law, Aaron and Ruby Stromer; and his brothers-in-law, Norman Stromer, Delwyn Stromer and Dwight Bovenmyer.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Stromer; his children, Jon DeWitt of Shawnee, KS and Vicki Adkins (Bill) of Plano, TX; his grandchildren, Connor DeWitt (Rachel) and Bailee Adkins; his stepgrandchildren, Chelsea Guccione (Ben), Thomas and Vincent Guccione; and his sisters-in-law, Harriet Stromer, Vivian Bovenmyer and Thelma Gates (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and all of his friends.
Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church, Garner Booster Club or GHV musical department.
