He is survived by: his spouse Devonna Kinseth; his children, JoAnne Mary (Robert) of Mason City, Michael Benegas of Fort Dodge, Lance Syferd (Belinda Jones), Fort Dodge and Kevin Syferd (Connie) of Longmont, CO; his sisters, Ellowein Gates and Sandra Rider (John); and his sister-in-law Mildred Syferd. He is also survived by two grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
