He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Beam and Mildred Pringle Beam; his daughter LeeAnn Gillespie; his grandson James Donahe; his stepson Jim Keane; and his brother Jim Beam.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his children, Mary Donahe-Richman (Beam) of Fort Dodge, Jim Beam Sr, Fort Dodge and Vince Beam (Laurie) of West Plains, MO; his children-in-law, Gary Gillespie of Gowrie, Jay Richman of Fort Dodge and Effie Keane of Minneapolis, MN; and his sisters, Donna Torgeson (Wayne) of Fairmont and Janice Toland of Glendale, AZ.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
