He is survived by: his parents, Joe Chavez and Mary Chavez (Craven); and his children, Tonja Chavez of Colorado, Trina Hernandez (Arnie) of Colorado, Oren Chavez Jr (Wendy), Toni Howard (Joe) of Colorado, Lanyon Chavez, Shane Chavez (Margaret) of Colorado, Dennis Grunwald of Colorado and Rocky Dimaio of Des Moines.
