She was predeceased by: her husband Glenn H. Rude; her son Steven; her parents, John Wempe and Christine Wempe (Reiff); and her siblings, Floyd Wempe and Joan George.
She is survived by: her son Darrell (Audrey) of Polk City; and her grandchildren, Crystal Bothel, Eric Rude, Mike Rude and Melissa Gilliam. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
