James Cless Dexter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2018, at the age of 77, James Cless Dexter (Fort Dodge, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James G. Dexter and Bessie "Ruth" Dexter (Trimble). He is survived by: his wife Jean Dexter (Anderson); his daughters, Shelly Van Note (John) of Madison, Brenda Scott (Tracy) of Iowa City and Jody Dexter of Seattle, Washington; his grandchildren, Oliver Van Note, Ella Scott and Olivia Scott; his sisters, Carol McCartan, Mary Phillips (Walter), Linda Abrahamson (Paul) and Ruth Starks (John); and his siblings-in-law, Curtis Anderson, Dean Anderson (Nancy) and Donna Hudson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Alzheimer's Association, or Grace Lutheran Church.
