He was predeceased by: his wife Imogene. He is survived by: his children, Nanette Donlin (Mike) of Miller, SD and Michael DeBakey (Tammy) of Sedalia, CO; his grandchildren, Erin Donlin (Robert Tenwinkel), Kevin Donlin (Angela), Ben DeBakey and Michael DeBakey (Kaci); and his parents, Toufeek DeBakey and Najeeba DeBakey (Rashid).
