He is survived by: his wife LaVanne; his children, June Bacon of Fort Dodge, Sally Ackerson of Gowrie and Dean Vinchattle (Vicky) of Gowrie; his sisters, Linda Welter and Mary Madison; and his grandchildren, Lonnie Bacon (Nikki), Corey Bacon, Jeff Ackerson (Jenny), Kimberly Ackerson, Allison Hynes (Shawn), Joe Vinchattle (Kellie), John Vinchattle (Brittany), Courtney Vinchattle, Tiffany DeCastro (Phil) and Roslyn Redman. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
