She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Wigern and Julia Wigern (Bendickson); her parents-in-law, Fred and Opal Lamping; her husband Harold F. Lamping; and her siblings, Myrtle Chose (Alfred), Irene Olson (Clifford), Mabel Heskett (Marvin), Alice Schaper (Fred), Olga Becker (Clarence), Ardis Schrader (Donald), Betty Ann Elwell (Don), Orville Wigern (Shirley) and Manville Wigern (Jeanette).
She is survived by: her children, Brad Lamping (Colleen) of Forest City and Shelley Bergan (David) of Lake Mills; her grandchildren, Christopher Lamping (Tiffany) of Mason City, Katie Bergan of Lake Mills, Brandon Lamping (Kelsey) of Forest City and Callie Schmitz (Jake) of Ridgeway, IA; her great grandchildren, Dominik, Sydney Lamping of Mason City, Carter, Olivia Lamping of Forest City and Evelyn Schmitz of Ridgeway, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Gerald Lamping (Phyllis) of Keewatin, MN, Donna Schmelzer of Grand Rapids, MN and Audrey Lamping of Shakopee, MN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Gilma Lamping memorial fund in care of the family.
