He is survived by: his sons, Donovan (Holly Jane) of Forest City, Darwin (Sharon) of Stanberry, MO, Dale of Forest City and Doyle (Stephanie) of Galesville, WI; his grandchildren, Sarah Keough, Nicole Smidt and Derek Smidt; and his great grandchildren, Kaiden, Konnor and Serenity.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Forest City American Legion Post #121.
