Nolton (Forest City, Iowa), born in Thompson, Iowa, who passed away on August 20, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nolton and Henrietta Nolton (Hagenson) of Thompson; his daughter Lori Hilmer; his parents-in-law, Orville and Rita Farrow; his sister-in-law Patricia Nolton; and his great grandchild Emma Hilmer.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Farrow; his children, Brian Nolton (Vicki) of Grinnell, IA, Thomas Nolton (Roberta) of Forest City, IA and Cathy Hughes (Jeff) of Forest City, IA; his son-in-law Todd Hilmer of Cedar Rapids, IA.; his grandchildren, Nick, Ben (Cait), Rebecca Hilmer (Doug), Danica, Kendra Nolton, Jacob (Miranda), Hannah (Cole), Morgan Nolton, Karri Stenberg (Cord), Jason Legler and Samuel Hughes; his great grandchildren, Madison, Violet and Daxton; and his brother Terry Nolton of Forest City. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, in- laws, cousins and friends.
Face covering and social distancing guidelines will be followed for everyone's safety.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in David's name to Hospice of North Iowa or Good Samaritan Nursing Home of Forest City.
