He is survived by: his wife Joan Jansen of Forest City; his children, Jennifer McQuown (Todd) of Forest City, Joel Odens (Ann) of St. Louis Park, MN and Jill Johnson (Brandon) of Cordova, TN; his grandchildren, Kelsey McQuown (Robbie McDonald) of Boulder, CO, Carly McQuown of Garner, IA, Callie McQuown (Easton Jacobs) of Forest City, Anthony, Henry, Charlie Odens of St. Louis Park, MN, Matthew and Abigail Johnson of Cordova, TN.; his brother Darrell Odens (Elaine) of Avon, SD; and his siblings-in-law, Ilene Pudwill, Peggy Odens of Springfield, SD, Harlan Ferwerda of Centerville, SD, Deloris Mulder of Spirit Lake, IA and Duane Jansen of Fort Collins, CO..
