He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Steele and Gladys Harrison Steele; and his daughter Molly Anna Steele. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Steele of Hedrick, IA; his daughters, Alicia Roop (Jacob) of Packwood, IA and Amanda Murphy (Kevin) of Urbandale, IA; and his grandsons, Joey, Jace and Josh Roop.
