He was predeceased by: his parents, Milo "Mike" and Ruth Allen (Hamrick). He is survived by: his children, Milo Allen (Sharon), Marla Kocher (Dick), Jen (Cory), Mel Jr. (Joan) and Jason; his grandchildren, Ivy, Willow, Quinn, Mason, Jaxen, Casey, Alec, Sophie, Isabel, Tate, Brooklyn and Jo Jo; and also Erika.
