She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Pacha and Teresa "Fritz" Pacha; her husband Walter Nicholas Adam; her children, Steve and Carol Murphy; her grandchildren, Nancy Martin and Meredith Garcia; and her great grandchild Lainey Jo Ledger.

She is survived by: her siblings, Walter, Don, Bob, Gerald, Jerome, Joanna Peterson and Geraldine Scheller; and her children-in-law, Dale Martin, Peggy Adam and Cindy Adam. She is also survived by her 13 children and 32 grandchildren.

I was the only Paul Hammes red head teased as 'Goldie Lochs'. Ed and Fred full of life and Maxine and Dale in Kirksville. shared their lives. Today, Uncle Nick teaches Doug, Aaron and Caleb their farm tricks. Yes, Mary Catherine taught her family how to share their lives with others. She still lives!”
