He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Pete" and Annabelle Pohren (Caviness); his brothers, Lawrence Pohren and Robert Pohren; and his nephews, Jeff Pohren and Tom Pohren.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Jane Heminger August; his children, Angie Pohren of Fairfield, Cassie Harryman (Chris) of Fairfield and David Pohren (Bianca) of Quasqueton, IA; his grandchildren, Hailey Pohren-Gevock, Blake Sobaski, Caleb, Hudson and Arya Pohren; his siblings, Kay Adam of Des Moines, IA, Jean Yelovich (Tony) of South Bend, IN, Dick Pohren (Kay) of Pleasant Plain, IA and Rita Pohren of Florida; and his sisters-in-law, Liz Pohren of Fairfield and Becky Pohren of Keosauqua, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
