It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Jean Meck (Fairfield, Iowa), born in Richland, Iowa, who passed away on April 9, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Stephens and Laura Spanier Stephens; her grandparents, Milo, Sylvia Fulton Stephens, Pete and Susannah Hammen Spanier; her husband Harold Wilbur Meck; her pet Lily; her daughters, Deborah Wallace (Gary) of Spring, TX and Christie Hall (David) of Roanoke, VA; her grandchildren, Rebecca Meck Lucas, Richard Lee Meck, Jr., Nicole Yocum, Donald Yocum, Amber Mule, Ash Wallace and Whitney Wallace; her great grandchildren, Bradlee Lucas, Brooke Lucas, Eric, Kaleb Meck, Brandon Yocum and Emma Wallace; her daughter-in-law Dena Rarick; her friend Rosie Witherspoon; and her son Richard Lee Meck. She was also cherished by three great-great grandchildren.
