He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Heller and Shirley Reynolds Heller; and his siblings, Albert Heller Jr., Aldon Heller and Aliene Melius.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Heller (Rachelle) of Iowa City, IA, Scott Heller (Chris) of Ottumwa, IA and Niki Pettit of Fairfield, IA; his grandchildren, Tara Heller, Alyssa Ownby, Vivienne Heller, Cassie Day, Chelsea Banares, Courtney Heller, Claire Pettit and Kate Pettit; his great grandchildren, Braylen Mays, Brielle Mays and Bailey Johnson; and his sister Shirley Thompson.
