He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lauritsen and Ruth Lauritsen (McManness); and his siblings, Tim Lauritsen and Ellen Marie Lauritsen. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer (Jesse James); his wife Darlene Lauritsen; his son Matthew Lauritsen (Nicole); and his grandchildren, Brooklynn, Noah and Brody.
