He is survived by: his wife Deanna Helmick (Clark); his children, James, Tanya and Chris Helmick (Karina); and his sisters, Linda Pyawasit (Lawrence) of Zoar, WI, JoAnn Plumhoff (Tom) of Ceylon, MN, Carol Miller (Jim) and Velda Cole (Rick). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, many extended family members and friends.
