He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Peton and Sophie Peton (Bondhus); his wife Joyce McKean; and his siblings, Euclaire, Donald, Clifford, Paul, Elaine Dalen, Marilyn Peton and Miriam Peton.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Peton of Estherville, John Peton of Estherville and Jeff Peton of Estherville; and his sisters-in-law, Annabelle Peton and Lavon Peton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
