It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nordein O Peterson (Estherville, Iowa), who passed away on January 2, 2022, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Peterson and Bertha Peterson (Widme); his wife Linda Mae Kristine Nielsen; his sons, David and Nels; his siblings, Selma Peterson and Donald Peterson (Beth); and his parents-in-law, Thor Nielsen (Helen), Bernard Nielsen and Melvin Nielsen (Rosa).
He is survived by: his children, Paul Peterson (Joan) of Albia, Marcia Klingbeil (Joseph) of Estherville and Rhonda Hand (Martin) of Mason City; his grandchildren, Olaf Peterson (Teresa), Sarah Meyer (Alan), Kent Klingbeil (Shelley), Kevin Klingbeil (Christa), Collin Klingbeil (Hanna), Kyle Klingbeil (Karie Villanueva), Curtis Klingbeil (Jackie Imsande), Aaron Hand (Mindy), Kristina Hand, Melissa Hand and David Hand; his great grandchildren, Joel, Ross, Brynn, Maren, Elsa, Drake, Stella, Grant, Knox, Kylah, Audrey, Abigail and Fern; his sister-in-law Effie Nielsen; and his close friend Terryand Kelly Lundgren.
