He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Heifner and Ivy Heifner (Carlson); his former wife Ardis Lee; his son Larry; his siblings, Ruby, Carrol and Robert; and his sisters-in-law, Fonda and Louise.
He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Heifner; his children, Donna Handeland (Tim), Jerry Heifner (Jan) and Lori Wilson (Dave); his brothers, Virgil and Cecil; and his siblings-in-law, Alvin Hopkes, Marilyn Heifner and Gert Heifner. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
