He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Hurlburt and Marjorie Hurlburt (Tucker); and his grandmother Ida Nelson. He is survived by: his children, Michael Hurlburt and Melanie Underwood; his sisters, Nancy Haas (Eldon) of Arnold's Park, Joyce Kramer of Winner and Kathy Hurlburt of Swea City; and his cousins, Carol Fritz and Earl Wayne Tucker (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests no flowers; memorials may be directed to the First Baptist Church, Bancroft, Iowa.
