She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin; her parents, Delbert D. Hockett and Audrey M. Hockett-Ostheimer (Race); her parents-in-law, Ida M. Whitacre (Pickell) and Henry A. Whitacre; and her sister Wanda Crees (Hockett).
She is survived by: her siblings, Sandy Hockett of Estherville, IA and Janet Catelli of McCloud, OK; and also, Debra (Mike Henricksen-Moriarity), Terry (Shelly Whitacre), Lenny (Kim Whitacre), Monty Whitacre (Pearl Clinton) of Estherville, IA, Jackie (Mark Harris) and Wanette (Lance Zimmerman). She is also survived by 52 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; and friends.
