He is survived by: his wife Joyce Horsfield of Epworth; his children, Julie Steffen (Randy), Melissa O'Brien (Dave) of Epworth, Amy Kluesner (Rick) of Farley, Shelly Staker (Kalika) of Farley, Jolene "JoJo" Kramer of Farley, Ann Ludwig (Ricky) of Farley and Todd Horsfield (Carrie) of Farley; his grandchildren, Bethany Steffen (Nate Trumm), Meredith Young (Adam), Olivia Steffen (Daniel Ervin), Libby Gansen (Mitch), Drew Kluesner, Paige Gallagher (Grady), Ethan Kluesner, Hope, Avery Staker, Jack, Patrick, Will O'Brien (Addie Ulbrich), Grant Kramer (Maria Morrison), Lauren Kramer (Austin Hosch), Grace Kramer, Sophie, Robbie, Jude Ludwig, Claire (Colin Hogan), CeCe and Cate Horsfield; his siblings, Pat Horsfield (Verla), Ronnie Horsfield (Judy) of Epworth and Dale Horsfield (Jolene) of Dubuque; and his parents-in-law, Kenny Krapfl of Monticello, Kevin Firnstahl of Dubuque, Elaine Tracey (John), Lois Laughlin (Al) of Epworth, Jim Weydert (Donna), Janet Pitz (Ronnie), Bill Weydert (Jan) of Peosta, Jack Weydert (Jeanne), David Weydert (Judy), Jerry Weydert (Marty), Joe Weydert of Dubuque, Tom Weydert (Donna), Marlene Kramer of Farley and Marilyn Kettman (John) of Bellevue.

His sudden and untimely death comes as a shock as he was only diagnosed with advanced COPD and long haul COVID, and lived a life of hijinks and shenanigans.
