It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Helm of Elliott, Iowa, born in Gray, Iowa, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank H. "Pat" and Elma Maude Murphy (Barratt); her sons, Thomas and Michael; her siblings, Russell Murphy, Mae Powell and Betty Howell; and her sons-in-law, Forrest Mahan and Greg Ebert.
She is survived by: her husband Elmer Helm of Elliott, IA; her daughters, Sue Mahan (John) of Bellevue, NE, Betty Sellers (Jeff) of Gretna, NE, Barb Mahan of Goodyear, AZ and Linda Venditte (Mike) of Maumelle, AR; her grandchildren, Berry Mahan (Sara) of Bellevue, NE, Kelly Williams (Braden) of Bellevue, NE, Andy Mahan (Amber) of Papillion, NE, Daniel Mahan (Sarah) of Bellevue, NE, Jennifer Sellers of Gretna, NE, Jason Sellers of Lincoln, NE, Nicki Tudor of Goodyear, AZ, Tom Mahan of Athens, TN, Jeffrey Ebert (Heather) of Eau Claire, WI and Erika Ebert of Lee's Summit, MO; and her brothers-in-law, LeRoy Helm of Red Oak, IA, Ed Helm (Jane) of Red Oak, IA, Sam Helm of Red Oak, IA and Mac Bundgaard of Huntley, IL. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many friends.
