She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Carthew and Elizabeth "Betty" Carthew (Carlson); her brother Dennis Carthew; and her brother-in-law Dean Heller. She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Meier (Eric) of Chanhassen, MN; her grandson Zachary Meier of Chanhassen, MN; her sisters, Kathy Mootz (Ron) of Darlington, WI, Chris Murray (Greg) of Monroe, WI, Carol Vey (Bill) of Fredonia, WI, Patricia Eberhardt of Waunakee, WI and Mary Heller of Stockton, IL; and her sister-in-law Karen Carthew of Portage, WI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Dubuque.
