He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Dillon and Ann Dillon (Norton); his sister Peggy Dillon; his siblings-in-law, Barb Weidenbacher, Connie Dillon, Chris Bauer, Dennis "Harry" Bauer, Richard Bauer and Dean Edwards; and his aunt Shirley Melloy (Annie).
He is survived by: his wife Donna Dillon; his children, Sara Burke (Matt) of Dubuque, Steve Schmitt (Lynn) of Dubuque, Eric Schmitt (Megan) of Platteville, Wis, Amy Rutherford (Charles) of Washington, Ann Wade (Doug) of Florida, Debbie Gonzalez (Rafael) of Florida, Mike "Deets" Dillon of Florida, Dan Dillon of Florida and David Dillon (Cathy) of Dubuque; his grandfather Pops (Popsi); his grandchildren, Emily, Grace, Brody, Mason, Eli, Easton, Genevieve, Tyler, Nicole, Casey, Danielle, Melissa, Derrick, Zach, Cory, Samantha and Ryne; his siblings, Kaye Edwards, Angela Kaune, Pat Dillon (Karen), Tom Dillon (Sue), Jim Dillon (Lois), Joe Dillon (Sue) and Jerry Dillon; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Klein (Tom), Lora Spahn (Joe), Lisa Chapman (Kent), Lana Norton (Gary), Robert Bauer (Patti), Lois Lumley (Al) and Julie Bauer. He is also survived by 19 great- grandchildren.
