She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Donovan and Blanche Donovan (Johnson); her husband Butch (Cathedral); her daughter Marianne; and her siblings, Neal Donovan (Ellen), Gerald "Buzzy" Donovan (Joan) and Donna Brenke.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Houselog and Linda Houselog Lee (John Gonther); her brother Frank Donovan of Santa Rosa, CA; her sisters-in-law, Edna Houselog of Dubuque, Gert Houselog of Dubuque and Theresa Houselog of Milwaukee, WI; her grandchildren, Matt Houselog (Samantha), Amy Tonner (Dustyn), Lilli Houselog, Lance Houselog, Jenny Meyer (Brad Michels), Carla Koluhen (Dusty), Mandy Schramm (Jeremiah) and Hara; her niece Julie Schwendinger; and her nephews, Steve Houselog and Dennis Donovan. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A Lois Houselog Memorial Fund has been established.
