He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Harry, Alice Leonard, Hansl and Irene Cloyd; and his son Tayton Cloyd.

He is survived by: his parents, Jo Ann Cloyd, (Leonard) and Jon Cloyd, Sr.; his children, Brennon Cloyd, Brittany Cloyd and Zander Cloyd; his siblings, Tracey Groy, Scott and Doug; and his fiancée Amanda Takes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested shrubs and trees that can be planted on his farm.
