She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Edward and Dorothy Marie Klein Kressig; her sister Jacque Hardin; her parents-in-law, Norman "Hank" and Ella Mae Avenarius; and her brothers-in-law, Ronnie and Roger Avenarius.
She is survived by: her husband Tom; her children, Steve Drahozal (Allison) of Dubuque, Mike Avenarius (Jennifer) of Asbury, Matt Avenarius (Terri) of Colorado Springs, CO, Tammy Avenarius-Rausch of Dubuque and Michelle Hingtgen (Tony) of Asbury; her grandchildren, John (Ashley), Jessica (Josue), Steven, Dustin (Jessica), Dalton, Zackson, Nick H., Nick A., Colton, Addison, Reid, Gavin, Everett and Violet; her great grandchildren, Addilea and Everett; and her brothers, Mark "Doc" Kressig and Daniel Kressig. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
