With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James A. Watters (Dubuque, Iowa), who passed away on July 29, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Watters and Violet Watters (Bentley); his siblings, Allan, Kay Miller and Margie Rittenhouse; and his granddaughter Sydney Watters.

He is survived by: his wife Joanne Hoff; his sons, Jason (Lynn) and Jeremy (Amy); his grandchildren, Maya, Nick, Lyncoln, Ryleigh, Madison and Caiden; and his sister Edna Schmalfeldt.

In lieu of flowers, a James Watters Memorial Fund has been established.
