With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E Noonan of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on July 10, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Noonan and Elaine Noonan (Fessler); his former wife Kris Noonan; his grandson Jack Noonan; and his uncle Gerard "Bud" Noonan.
He is survived by: his friends, J. L. Brimeyer, Bill Gerber, Gill Spence and Jim Prochaska; his children, Sean Noonan (Shanda) of Ankeny, Molly Bodish (Bill) and Erin Tomkins (Russ) of Dubuque; his grandchildren, Connor Noonan of Urbandale, Cody Krause of Ankeny, Hope Krause of Dubuque, Ella Tomkins of Dubuque, Tanner Tomkins of Dubuque and Aubrey Tomkins of Dubuque; and his brothers, Thomas Noonan (Kathy), David Noonan (Jane) and Terry Noonan (Jeralyn).
A memorial fund has been set up to honor Jim's legacy as a softball coach for Wahlert Catholic High School to name the dugouts in his honor for years to come.
