Harriet Heitzman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriet Heitzman of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on July 13, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Adams and Ruby Adams (Thompson); her husband Wesley W. Heitzman; her son-in-law Lloyd Peters; her siblings, Virginia Bellows, Phyllis Metcalf Thomas, Parker Adams and Don Heitzman (Jean); and her sister-in-law Lois Heitzman.
She is survived by: her children, Wesley A. Heitzman (Barbara) of Dubuque, Rebecca L. Peters of Platteville and Thomas C. Heitzman (Andrea) of Lyme, NH; and her grandchildren, Megan Heitzman, Emily Heitzman (Jonathon Dodrill), Beth Duris (Justin), Chris Peters (Allie DeGroff) and Peili Heitzman. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, private family services will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at 1:00 p. m.
Memorials may be given to Wesminster Presbyterian Church, Dubuque Arts Council, and Hillcrest Family Services.
