She was predeceased by: her father Edward Correll; and her husband Jerry Dean. She is survived by: her mother Deloras Correll (Bettcher); her children, Ken Dean (Stephany), Amy Hantelmann (Gary), Shawntel Schmitt (Steve), Dan Dean (Megan) and Dennis Dean (Corrinna); her grandchildren, Cody Petersen (Becca), Breanna, Dylan, Brandyn, Izzy Dean, Jared, Kaylee Hantelmann, Carter Daack, Carson Daack, Gavin Schmitt, Michael Dean, Tylor and Payton Dean; her great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Abigail, Kristoff and Flynn; and her siblings, Ann Haas (Jeff) and Tom Correll (Amy).
In lieu of flowers, a Carmelita Dean memorial fund has been established.
