He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schubert and Violet Schubert (Dohse); his children, Tina, Tara and Arnold Schubert; his brother Johnny Schubert; his siblings-in-law, Grace Mueller (Raymond), David Bahl and Kenny Droullard; and his nephew Steven Bradley.
He is survived by: his close friend Donna Neyen-Shea of Dubuque; his children, Andy Schubert (Lucy) of Tucson, AZ, Joe Schubert (Patty) of St. Charles, IL, Patty Schubert (Mark Prindle) of East Dubuque, IL and Carolyn Schubert (Dave McLauchlan) of Bull Valley, IL; his grandchildren, Heather (A. J.), Holly, Hannah, Robert, Christina, Jason and Renee; his great grandchild Norah; his siblings, Shirley Bahl, Mary Lou Bradley (Richard), Elda Kuehn (Tom) and Sandy Fiedler (Tim); and his sister-in-law Irene McDermott.
Memorials may be given to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
