With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Robert Kirkpatrick of Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on October 18, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Alice Louise; his sons, Frederick and Edward Kirkpatrick; his parents, Frederick Kirkpatrick and Phyllis Boll; and his sister Janis Summers.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Mae; his children, Cindy Leeper (Richard) and Rob Kirkpatrick (Tammy); his grandchildren, Jennifer Leeper, Jessica Leeper, Michael Kirkpatrick (Jennifer) and Joseph Kirkpatrick; his great grandchild Damon Kirkpatrick; his stepson Shane Ford; and his brothers, James Kirkpatrick and George Kirkpatrick (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the South Side Senior Center, 100 Payton Ave, Des Moines, IA 50315 in his name.
