With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Susan Vivone (Des Moines, Iowa), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her daughter Diana; and the parents of child, Dean and Lucy Garland. She is survived by: her husband Pete Vivone; her daughters, Angela Vivone, Victoria Vivone and Maria Hinders; her grandchildren, Zach, Nick, Hali, Noah, Lorelei, Carmen, Claire, Henry and Ellen; her great grandchildren, Luca and Leo; and her siblings, Steve Garland (Sandy), Dennis Garland (Paula), Debra Jensen (Eric) and Jerry Garland (Debbie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rosary Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home (5400 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (5711 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315).
