As we bid adieu to Mary Ellen's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Mary Ellen has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl B. Tough and Esther W. Tough (Braley); her husband Carl J. Parsons; and her siblings, Robert, Donald Tough and Doris Bahrenfuse.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Parsons (Shirley) of Harrisonburg, VA, David Parsons (Noralyn) of Albuquerque, NM and John Parsons (Jenifer) of Des Moines. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; her numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and her many extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Pleasant View Methodist Church, rural Kellogg, the Kellogg Historical Society or to a charity of your choosing.
