With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John J. Johnson (Des Moines, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jr. Johnson and Mary Alice Johnson; his wife Gay Conroy; his parents-in-law, John and Nedra Conroy; his siblings-in-law, Guy Conroy, Mike Allen, Gweyn Rider and Debbie Conroy; and his nephews, Lincoln Lambert, Shawn Conroy and Alex Gaumer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Johnson (Jeremy) and Nicole Lear (Dusty); his grandchildren, Lucas, Logan, Sarah, Daylin, Destyne, Madison, Leelah and Ivee; his sisters, Charla Johnson, Sandy Eschen (Dennis) and Janet Johnson; and his sisters-in-law, Gayle Allen and Glenda Gaumer (Stan). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other loving relatives and special friends.
Contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of John for a memorial to be placed at a future date.
